Newbridge House is holding an Open Day for nurses on Saturday, October 1, to show what it is like to work in our outstanding-rated service.
Demand for our national, specialist service has grown and consequently we are looking for qualified nurses committed to making a difference.
The Open Day will provide an opportunity to see Newbridge House and speak to many of the nurses working in our renowned service.
Natalie Maley, clinical manager of Newbridge, said: “Newbridge House is an incredible place to work as a nurse. We offer nurses a genuine opportunity to lead and shape the work that we do.
“We work in multi-disciplinary teams which are led jointly by a senior nurse and a consultant. Within our senior leadership team, both the clinical manager and deputy of Newbridge are nurses.
“Furthermore, Newbridge was recently rated as an outstanding service by the Care Quality Commission. Their report praised the support we offer to our staff, the training we provide and the accessibility of the senior management team. Staff morale was also praised as being good.
“Our nurses are really proud of the service they provide and are really happy to work at Newbridge. We hope many nurses and student nurses come to our Open Day so they can see this for themselves and find out more about what it is like to work here.”
The Open Day takes place from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, October 1. It is a drop-in event, but we would encourage people to register their interest in attending by emailing administrator Amanda Deakin: Mandy.Deakin@newbridge-health.org.uk
We are looking for both qualified mental health nurses and paediatric nurses and we would be keen to see nursing degree students.
Newbridge House is located in a residential area of Streetly, near Sutton Coldfield, ideally located for many parts of the West Midlands, with our nursing team coming from Birmingham, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Wolverhampton and Shropshire.
