Dr Melanie Stevens
clinical psychologist
Dr Stevens completed her clinical training at the universities of Coventry and Warwick. She is a chartered clinical psychologist specialising in the treatment of eating disorders.
Prior to completing her doctorate in clinical psychology, Dr Stevens worked in head injury rehabilitation. Since qualifying she has worked in an inpatient unit for children and adolescents with eating disorders for two years. Dr Stevens has also worked in an NHS unit for the outpatient treatment of eating disorders for 18 months. She is experienced at delivering both individual and group therapies.
Dr Stevens has a masters degree in health psychology and is trained in the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Compassionate Focussed Therapy (CMT), and Mindfulness Cognitive Therapy.
